New technology supports experienced staff.

Front Porch has introduced the advanced motion-sensor technology of Intel-GE Care Innovations™ QuietCare® at its  Summer House at Wesley Palms memory care neighborhood. Representing a new standard of memory care support,  the Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing combined this latest sensor technology with excellent staff training to create a level of attentive care that recognizes and responds quickly to changes in resident’s patterns.

With the QuietCare® motion-sensor technology, staff members can identify residents’ daily activity patterns. When the staff notice a change in a resident’s behavior pattern, or the system detects particular sensor signals, the equipment can then alert caregivers to potentially urgent situations. Responsiveness increases, which in turn improves care overall. The technology is used as a tool to significantly improve staff response time to attend to the personalized aspects of each resident’s needs.  This is a particularly effective tool in memory care settings.
